A Rapid Test To Fly

At A RAPID TEST TO FLY our unique 15 minute COVID antigen and antibody testing strategy enables us to implement a rapid response to COVID-19 for both the general public and businesses alike.

The current Government led PCR testing regime is currently under great strain and will be subject to additional pressure as the winter months close in.  Therefore, as a company, our belief is that rapid testing can provide scalable solutions and ease the burden on the already stretched NHS. The ability to screen for both presence of viral RNA in the airway and antibodies (IgG) in blood offers a practical on- site or mobile regime for COVID-19 screening.

This test is applicable for those that require testing for AIR TRAVEL, WORK or similar purposes.

Have you got it? The Rapid Antigen test consists solely of a nasal swab. It is currently the only 15 minute Antigen test available in the UK. Testing can be carried out both onsite at one of our COVID secure testing facilities or in the comfort of your own home by one of our fully trained and insured medical operatives, ensuring accurate results and safeguarding against cross contamination.  Existing self-administered home testing swab kits provided by other suppliers, leave a great deal of room for user error and cross contamination and thus making results unreliable and inaccurate.

All Antigen test results are available within 15 minutes, although in many instances results are often faster.

This test is applicable for those that require a Fit To Fly certificate so they can fly back to the United Kingdom.

  • Designed for you to take the test in a box away with you.
  • A simple virtual face to face call with one of our trained operatives fromthe comfort of your hotel or villa.
  • We will send you the certificate electronically.
  • The whole process takes around 20 minutes.

This test is applicable for those that require testing for AIR TRAVEL, WORK or similar purposes.

COVID-19 testing technology has moved on fast during this period; each with their own unique use as part of a cocktail of tests to meet both screening and gold standard COVID-19 testing.

15 Minute Covid Test has partnered with a UK-based laboratory with experience in the Molecular and Clinical Diagnostics field to provide highly accredited ISO:15189 credentials to bring COVID-19 testing under this accreditation; a recognised standard that the Department of Health & Social Care has stipulated is the required standard of an operating laboratory offering COVID-19 test services.

PCR tests look for the genetic code (RNA) of the virus. The test involves taking a swab of the throat and nose. The test will confirm if an individual who is showing symptoms of the virus currently has it. It will not confirm whether they have had it and have now recovered.

PCR tests take up to 48 hours as the collected samples need to be analysed by a UK based lab.

Highlights of the PCR service include:

  • Simple agreement to cover your COVID-19 test requirement
  • Provision of swab sampling kits meeting UN3373 standards
  • Trained staff to sample
  • Results in under 48hrs (from receipt of sample)
  • Fit to fly certification

Post testing, an email will be sent to confirm the date, time & outcome of the test.

Three antibody whole process monitoring, vaccine effect evaluation is more comprehensive.

IgG,IgM and NAB(Neutralising antibodies) produced by RBD were detected to monitor the changes in antibody levels at various stages after vaccination.

COVID-19 NAb is part of the  fice antibodies IgA, IgM, IgD, IgG and IgE produced by the immune system after the human body is attacked by a virus. It is an antibody that effectively blocks the binding of COVID-19 to human ACE2, not the sixth Antibodies.

SARS-CoV-2 Combined

This test is applicable for those who want to know if they have previously been affected with the CORONA Virus.

Antibody testing is designed for persons who suspect that they may have been previously infected with the COVID virus. Most patients that have had the disease previously have been found to produce the IgG antibody.

Testing should be carried out fourteen days or more following exposure or onset of symptoms.

Please note; it is not yet fully known if an individual with a positive result and also showing the presence of IgG levels following infection with COVID-19 will be protected, either fully or partially from future infection, or the duration of immunity may last.

Therefore, all guidelines regarding social distancing and personal protection should still be adhered to regardless of a positive antibody testing result.  Please continue to refrain from personal contact with persons experiencing COVID symptoms such as coughs or a high temperature!

Please consult your GP should you have any queries regarding the testing and the associated implications of the results.

SARS-CoV-2 uses the surface spike protein (S protein) to attach and invade host cells.

The neutralizing antibody can recognize the virus surface protein, block the virus from binding to specific receptors on the cell surface, and prevent the virus from continuing to invade human cells.

Neutralizing antibodies are antibodies that block virus invasion.

Antibodies such as IgG/IgM are antibodies produced by the body after virus invasion. Evaluate vaccine efficacy, monitor infection rate, herd immunity and protective immunity, and evaluate vaccine efficacy during clinical trials and after mass vaccination.

Please note that it is the patient’s responsibility to understand the requirements of the Airline or test-requiring agency with regard to timing of the swab test and thus 15 Minute Covid Test cannot give specific advice in this respect.

Please be aware that on-site testing is only allowed if you are not showing any symptoms of COVID-19. If you are showing any sign of COVID-19 symptoms, please contact us directly to arrange off-site or mobile testing.

Post testing, an email will be sent to confirm the date, time & outcome of the test.
